WHAT TOWN IN THE MOHAWK VALLEY ARE YOU FROM: Dolgeville
PLEASE TELL YOUR EXTRAORDINARY TALE ABOUT THE MOHAWK VALLEY:
I’m in my 50’s now and I grew up in Dolgeville and lived in and around the area until I moved to Albany in the mid 90’s. When I was in high school in the 70’s, I remember there were some disappearances of children in the area. One kid in particular, was the daughter of my Mom’s friend and I won’t name names due to respect for the family. Anyway this 6 year old girl went missing and some of my friends said they saw her walking through the woods with a man one night over at the Old Train station in Little Falls. As kids we used to party there all the time because the cops usually left us alone. My friend Deb was certain it was the girl and told me weeks after her disappearance when she saw a picture of her on our fridge.
Why was she walking through the woods with a man that night?
The following week after the night she was spotted by Deb, we went in the structure and found what looked like a large pool of blood that was a few days old. It was inside of a pentagram drawn in white spray paint. I also noticed an image of two joined snakes painted on the wall, much like the Brotherhood of the Snake emblem.
I had no idea what it was at the time until I stumbled upon this website some 4o years later.
I’d love to see if anyone else has any stories about Little Falls but I really believe this was part of some ritualistic human sacrifice. The train station is the prefect place to do it due to it’s seclusion and hundreds of nooks and crannies to hide a dead body and so much more.
The Brotherhood of the Snake’s markings are found ALL OVER Little Falls now. Punk kids? Doubtful. Coincidence? I think not.
Strangely enough a man by the name of Drew Yanno, originally form Little Falls New York, wrote a book in the early nineties called “In the Matter of Michael Vogel.” It’s a mystery about a young boy who supposedly drowned at the local pool but what we find out is the premise is that there is suspicion that some townies, including prominent people, dabbled in the occult and sexcapade. Is Yanno speaking from firsthand experience?
I guess we’ll never know but it’s just another coincidence in this strange story of the occult and the Brotherhood of the Snake.
